Spay & Neuter Surgery in Kelowna
Spaying or neutering is one of the most common procedures we perform, and still one we take care over. We start with a conversation and an examination, plan anaesthesia and pain control around your pet, and send you home with clear, written aftercare.
Appointment requests are confirmed by our team.

What to expect

Why spay or neuter
Health and behaviour benefits
In general terms, spaying and neutering prevents unplanned litters and can lower the risk of some reproductive cancers and infections later in life.
Many owners also notice fewer hormone-driven behaviours, such as roaming, marking or heat cycles. Every pet is different, and we are happy to talk through what is realistic for yours.
Timing
When is the right age?
There is no single right age. The best timing depends on species, breed and expected adult size, and recommendations for larger dog breeds in particular can differ.
Your veterinarian will advise on timing for your pet at the consultation.
